The camera has been out over the last couple of weeks and the results so far haven’t been great, the positives though are that the camera is working reliably and has taken over 2000 shots, what it has captured has been a Muntjack, a Deer, a Pheasant and myself! The latter two are the only photos that were in focus, the PIR is very sensitive to movement so weather conditions not being great has resulted in plenty of shots of moving leaves and branches.

The batteries appear to be holding up to the demands of the camera continually going off, the housing is not allowing water to ingress and the lens has only misted up on one occasion due to a big drop in temperature and a harsh frost.

Of the photos taken you can see below how they came out of the camera, a bit of brainstorming and I have changed out the lens for a 18-55mm and the photo of the Pheasant is using it, the auto focus lens seems to be struggling to focus! There are no night time photos as that will require the settings on the camera to be changed specifically for this to a manual setting, so a bit more practice as it is will be required!

The batteries have been recharged and the camera will be set again, hopefully producing better results.
