I have finally managed to get out and set the trail camera, the only issue was getting to the spot, the past week has seen quite a bit of rainfall and my usual route was flooded due to the Stour bursting its banks in a few spots, I didn’t anticipate just how deep the water would be in the fields and along the footpaths so by the time I had started to venture out I wasn’t going to turn back and take an alterative route once I realised the water was getting deeper and coming over into my boots!

The place I have set the camera is where I have been putting the other trial cameras I have for the last couple of years and it has a huge badger sett, it goes on for at least 100 yards on the hill in the woods in the background of the 2nd photo (below) and has been a great spot for all kinds of activity.

The only annoying thing is I left the plasticine behind to go around the flash housing, but the weather forecast says no more rainfall for at least a couple of days so it should be safe! I tested the camera before I left and hopefully on my return I will have some decent images!
