The River Stour at the Estuary.

A slightly overcast Sunday morning along the River Stour towards Flatford from Cattawade bridge.

A short walk along the Essex bank of the river Stour heading towards Flatford from Cattawade Bridge, showing the girls how to use the binoculars with mixed results trying to identify what we saw, plenty of wildlife on show, Cormorant in big numbers, Little Egret, Curlew, Oystercatcher, Sandpiper, Shovelers, and Lapwing.

The Stour Estuary looking inland towards Flatflord and out towards the Sea.
